Crews were on the scene of the four-alarm fire near near 2351 Central Street on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 18, according to Stoughton Fire Rescue on Facebook.
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire conditions and worked to prevent the blaze from spreading to other buildings in the area.
Residents captured photos of smoke coming from the house that reportedly exploded near Cobb Corner Shopping Center.
This fire occurred at the same time crews were battling a smaller fire on Wheeler Circle, Stoughton Fire Rescue added.
Two people, who were inside the home, escaped without injury, WCVB reports. No injures were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Meanwhile, a neighbor set up a GoFundMe campaign to help support the family of four who lost everything in the fire.
"My neighbors suffered an unimaginable loss when their home burst into flames," the campaign reads. "While the mom, dad, two children, aged 10 and 16, and one dog escaped with their lives, they lost another dog and absolutely everything else."
The GoFundMe is looking to raise $25,000. People interested in donating can click here.
